If you’re looking for an action-comedy movie, “The Lost City” will surely grab your attention and keep you on the edge of your seat.

Imagine having to navigate through a wild jungle after being kidnapped in order to escape to freedom. Loretta Sage (Sandra Bullock) and Alan (Channing Tatum) find themselves in just exactly in this situation.

Loretta, is a romance novelist who has lost her love for her passion. It’s now up to Alan to find and rescue Loretta and bring her home safely.

Alan calls his friend Jack Trainor (Brad Pitt) in order to help with finding Loretta.

Unfortunately, things, don’t go as planned and the pair finds themselves stranded with hopes of making it off the island.

In the meantime, Alan and Jack don’t know that Loretta has someone else looking for her: Abigail Fairfax (Daniel Radcliffe). He’s on the hunt for a lost treasure but needs Loretta’s help.

“The Lost City” is the perfect mix of action, adventure, and comedy (and a hint of romance).

The cinematography was a beautiful display along with the special effects. There was definitely some extensive work to pull off some of the more extreme stunts and it really helped tie the movie together.

From the star-studded cast, everyone played their roles tremendously but there was one man who stuck out among the rest.

Out of everyone’s character in the movie, seeing Daniel Radcliffe portrayed as the enemy was different and unique to see from his time as Harry Potter.

When you thought Channing Tatum would get all the spotlight and glory in the movie, you’ve got another thing coming. The short-lived cameo of Brad Pitt in “The Lost City” spices things up as he enters the screen as this ex-military fanatic. Although his screen time was short, the way he was able to hit the ground running with his character made his acting enjoyable to watch.

“The Lost City” is rated PG-13 and runs for 112 minutes.
