Everyone is excited for summer as these last few school weeks of classes go by. Some people have big trips, work all summer, or just chill at home taking some free time after school and finals.
Now is the best time to do what best suits you — it’s summer, no more homework or classes. What are Frederick Community College students doing this summer?
Joseph Romanic, 20, of Frederick, is majoring at FCC in computer science. He said for summer he will “probably be staying with family for most of it.” He said his family has talked about doing something but is not sure if they are doing any big trips.
Louis Held, He/Him, 20, of Jefferson is majoring in biology. He said for summer he does not have any big trips planned, either, but he might go to Illinois.
But he might be a little busier because he “got a job with National Parks service as a seasonal ranger. He said he will upkeep facilities and have knowledge on the trails. He said he is excited for the semester to be done but not as much for summer because he is working.
Colin Bomysoad, 20, of Brunswick, is a veterinarian medicine major. He said he will be “working at a vet clinic” over the summer. He also said he may take a cross-country road trip or go to the river in West Virginia. He said he is ready for his semester to end but he is not ready for summer because this means he will not get to see his friends anymore.
