Corporal Kocevar and K9 Edy with the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office visited Frederick Community College Nov. 22, for a K-9 demonstration. The Public Safety Professionals Club sponsored the K9 demonstration, which was held between the Annapolis building and the Student Center.
Corporal Kocevar and the police dog is named Edy. This was taken while they were introducing themselves and answering questions from students.
Edy demonstrates how he sniffs out narcotics.
Edy shows his handler what he does when he locates the source of the scent and when he finds it.
Corporal Kocevar then walks up to him and congratulates him after finding the source of the scent by calling him a “good boy.”
